• Description: The ROR in Repositories workshop introduces participants to the Research Organization Registry (ROR); teaches participants to search the ROR API; goes over the importance of ROR IDs in DataCite DOIs; and facilitates discussion of ROR in repositories. The workshop is a mix of presentation, hands-on exercises querying ROR and DataCite APIs, and collaborating via shared documents to provide feedback on ROR integration in repositories. Our ultimate goal in this workshop is to give Open Repositories attendees the knowledge and skills they need to assess whether ROR can help their repositories demonstrate their value.
